Sonyeo Yun is here from Korea! I met her in the hall, staring at the finals sheets. She’s here all alone, all the way from Korea, her first time in the United States, here to go to MadJam, then Boston Tea Party, and now City of Angels, her last event before she goes back home to Korea. She has no roommates, and of course no Korean buddies to hang out with. She says she’s had a fun time in the States cause “everyone is so friendly.” If you see a tiny fragile little Korean woman standing alone smiling and watching please ask her if she is Sonyeo and would she like to dance or get a bite to eat.

Um, there ARE risers in the ballroom. They’re very visible, right there at the back of the ballroom in plain sight. What was I looking at? The side wall? Maybe I was in the lobby because there definitely aren’t any risers in the lobby.

The ballroom has been FREEZING! Whole hotel has been cold. Not the rooms – everyone’s rooms been nice and toasty warm. But the lobby, elevators, ballroom – majorly cold. Gorgeous weather here – sunny, windy, dry, palm trees waving. But chilly for LA standards maybe? Dunno, but stop dancing and you start freezing.

Ballroom CRAZY GREAT now. Everybody’s there – Saturday night and all the stress stuff is over. Time to party! I’m LERVING this event.
